My work ranges from black and white between medium format to color digital (35mm). I use the medium format for slower, more scenic work — work that will be reproduced as large prints. The digital work offers immediate turnaround (via the client login section of this site) and is well suited for web, presentation, and other digital uses — as well as corporate reports, marketing, and public relations.

When given the option, I prefer black and white images. They allow me, as the photographer, and you, as the viewer, to focus on the composition and relative values of light and dark in the images. It also leaves more to the imagination, much like a memory from childhood does... the imperfections and sharp edges are gone. It also evokes a sense of nostalgia and gives the work a more timeless quality.
